Another thank you to the many friends who continue to share their pictures with me. The majority of varieties are already pictured on First Class, a wonderful program I heartily recommend. It is available from the AVSA website. We've added links to many great websites that have very useful information on how to grow African violets and the other gesneriads.

For those of you who don't already know me, I live in upstate New York, where the weather gets very cold in the winter, and shipping season is relatively short. I grow a great number of miniatures and semiminiatures, both vintage and the very newest (and lots in between). I ship primarily African violet leaves, 'other' gesneriad cuttings, and a limited number of starter plants.

Winter of 2008-09 was exceptionally long and cold, which meant a very late start for spring shipping. Although I try my best to send orders in a timely manner, there are sometimes delays! I schedule shipments consecutively by the date orders are placed, and in the spring there is often a backlog of orders placed during winter. I always send an e-mail with tracking information prior to shipping, so the package will not arrive unexpectedly. I apologize in advance for any delays.
